  • Itanium2搭載機 hp workstation zx2000 CentOS 4.0/IA64 で俺色に染めた!

    xmmsビルド中のCentOS4が稼働するhp zx2000。
    隣のノートは自宅で普段使っているApple PowerBook G4。もちろんYellowDogLinux 4.0.1が稼働している。

    デスクトップはこんな感じ。
    KDEの稼働する普通のLinux PCです。
    IA-32もPowerPCもAlphaもIA-64も全部おなじ使い勝手なので楽です。
    使い勝手を同じようにするために足りないものを自分でビルドして入れてますが。
    まあそんなわけで、おまえも今日からLinuxマシンだ。

    まあいくつか気になる点があるものの、起動はした。
    足りない部分を補い、使い慣れているものを移植し、俺色にそめるのはこれからだ。
    インストールするのが目的ではなく、普通のデスクトップPCとしてつかうのが目的だからな。
